Zoazi for Android

To ensure that Zoazi runs to the best of its ability on your phone, we’ve created a list of helpful tips for our Android users. If you still find that your phone is underperforming, or have any other questions, get in touch with the Zoazi support team here.

Before you dive into your settings, start by ensuring that your version of Zoazi is currently up to date. you can do this by searching for Zoazi on the Google Play store. You will know if there’s currently an update available for your device as it will ask “Update.”

 

General Android tips:

To begin, make sure that your phone isn’t currently set to low power mode and that your location settings are set to ‘always.’

To optimise the battery use of your android device and improve the Zoazi experience, complete these simple instructions:

  • Go to your device’s settings.
  • Within the settings’ search bar, search for either ‘Device care’ or ‘Battery’
  • Select ‘Battery Optimisation’ when it appears in the results.
  • From the list of apps that are currently shown as optimised, select Zoazi.
  • Choose ‘Don’t Optimise.’
  • Tap ‘Done.’

IMPORTANT: When your phone is updated, an app isn’t used for a long period of time, or it is deleted and restored, battery settings may reset. To counter this, consider opening the Zoazi app at least once a day to remind your phone that you still use it, and check the battery setting on a regular basis for the best Zoazi experience possible.

For Samsung devices

To optimise your Zoazi experience on your Samsung device, check the three main settings below. These are currently up to date for Android OS 11.

 

To find your battery optimisation settings:

  • Go to your Samsung device’s settings.
  • Select “Apps.”
  • Search for, and select, Zoazi, then select ‘Battery.’
  • Disable “optimise battery usage” for the Zoazi app.

Sleeping App Settings

  • Go to your device’s settings.
  • Select “Battery & Device Care.”
  • Select “Battery.”
  • Select “Background usage limits.”
  • Disable “Put unused apps to sleep.”
  • Select “Sleeping Apps” and make sure that Zoazi isn’t included.
  • Tap “Deep sleeping apps” and select ‘More options’ under the three horizontal dots.
  • Select “Remove apps”
  • Tap “Never sleeping apps,” and include Zoazi.

Battery Saving Mode Settings

  • Go to your device’s settings.
  • Select “Battery and Device care” and then “Battery.”
  • Disable “Power saving mode.”

Huawei

To optimise Zoazi on your Huawei, there are three core settings that you must investigate.

The following steps are appropriate for OS EMUI 9.0.0 and 10.0.0.

Battery Optimisation settings:

  • Go to your device’s settings.
  • Search and select for “Battery Optimisation.”
  • Check that Zoazi is under “Not allowed.”

Battery Saving Mode settings

  • Go to your device’s settings.
  • Select “Battery.”
  • Make sure the following three modes are switched to off:
    • “Performance mode”
    • “Power Saving mode”
    • “Ultra Power Saving mode”

Automatic App Launch settings

  • Go to your device’s settings and select “Battery.”
  • Select “App start/launch” and select Zoazi from the list.
  • Manually remove Zoazi from “Manage automatically.”
  • Tap “Manage Manually” and make sure all three of these features are turned on:
    • Auto launch
    • Secondary launch
    • Run in background.

NOTE

Your android device may send you alerts that Zoazi is consuming battery regularly. If you wish to disable these:

Go to your device’s settings.

  • Select Zoazi from the list of your device’s applications.
  • Select “Power usage details.”
  • Turn off “Power consumption alert.”

OnePlus

To optimise Zoazi on your OnePlus device, there are four main settings that you must adapt.

The following steps are appropriate for Android OS 11.

 

Battery Optimisation settings

  • Go to your OnePlus device’s settings.
  • Select Battery, then tap on “Battery Optimisation.”
  • Select the “All Apps list,” and select Zoazi.
  • Select “Don’t optimise.”

Apps & Notification settings

  • Go to your OnePlus device’s settings.
  • Select “Apps & notifications.”
  • Choose “Special app access” before selecting Zoazi.
  • Disable “Battery optimisation.”

Sleep settings

  • Go to your OnePlus device’s settings.
  • Find and select “Battery.”
  • Select “Battery Optimization,” and tap the three dots.
  • Tap Advanced “optimization.”
  • Disable “Deep optimization/Adaptive Battery, as well as the “Sleep standby optimisation.”

Battery Saving Mode settings

  • Go to your OnePlus device’s settings.
  • Find and select “Battery.”
  • Disable “Battery Saver mode.

 

Google Pixel

To optimise Zoazi on your OnePlus device, there are three main settings that you must adapt.

The following steps are appropriate for Android OS 11.

 

Battery Optimisation settings

  • Select your Pixel device’s settings.
  • Go back to Settings, then tap on “Apps & Notifications.”
  • Tap “Advanced,” then “Special app access.”
  • Select “Battery optimisation” and make sure Zoazi is listed as “not optimised.”

Adaptive Battery settings

  • Go to your Pixel device’s settings.
  • Select “Battery.”
  • Choose and disable “Adaptive Battery.”

Restricted App settings

  • Go to your Pixel device’s settings, then select “Battery.”
  • Tap the three dots menu, then Battery Usage
  • Under Battery usage since full charge you will see a list of apps
  • For a complete view, click on the three dots in the right-hand corner again and select “Show full device usage.”
  • Select the Zoazi app to view or modify how it uses your device’s battery.
  • If “Background restriction” is enabled, disable it.
